The collection consists of glamorous day and evening footwear including heeled sandals, geometric
block heeled pumps, peep-toe booties, intricate lace-up boots and more. Each expertly crafted piece
has a distinctive look, combining the finest materials and techniques from Tuscany’s reputed artisans.
Inspiration for the AW 2009 collection comes from diverse influences, mixing Victorian elements with a
glam and new wave aesthetic hinting at the late 70’s French group Elli et Jacno, as well as a young Kate
Bush. The end result is a selection of modern footwear with a studied silhouette and a rich, highly
considered color palette reminiscent of Victorian patterns. Key colors include purple, red, grey, bronze
and a saturated blue.
